The fabric for the bright exterior and floral lining of the Orange Fulani Tote bag was produced by the Fulani Tribe in West Africa using an ancient weaving process, where the artist uses a handmade loom tied to a tree. Supported by Petel designs, the artisans use traditional fabrics and methods to create incredibly unique, contemporary products. Using a fabric normally reserved for ceremonial events, the production of these vibrant, everyday bags helps to both preserve traditional weaving practices and generate income for the Fulani Tribe.
